School Success Workshop & Family Fun Night

Thursday, August 2, at 5:30 pm
at Trinity Wesleyan Church
(700 Issaqueena Trail, Central)

Come and bring the whole family — it will be a fun evening and you will find out what new and exciting things are available to you and your children this coming year.

Representatives from area schools will be available to answer your questions. You will be able to check your child’s teacher and learn to access grades and check for announcements from a a computer.

In addition, hot dogs, a jumping castle, face painting, and door prizes will be available. Bring the whole family for a fun and informative evening.


Pickens County Schools Online Registration

Parents are welcome to use the computers at CCC to update their students’ information at the Back-to-School Gateway for the School District of Pickens County. You will be required to enter your child’s student number which may be obtained from SDPC reports cards or your student’s school.

Volunteers continue to generously gave their time to serve clients. Contact the CCC office for more information about how you can help in 2018 and/or click here to make a donation. See the sidebar for pantry items needed now.

Individuals, churches, civic groups, and businesses have generously donated to CCC so that:

♦ 90 seniors received food boxes each month.

♦ 250 children received toys for Christmas.

♦ 122 children were outfitted with school supplies.

♦ 583 families avoided utility disconnect.

♦ 363 families received holiday food.

♦ 69 families avoided eviction.

♦ 1,724 families received food.

Food Needs

Food can be dropped off at the CCC office Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-1:30pm. Check the calendar for days office is closed.

Families are needing more food since children are home for summer break. CCC has a shortage of the following:

canned or powdered milk
spaghetti sauce
tomato paste
all canned vegetables except green beans



CCC is a partner agency with both Pickens County United Way and Anderson County United Way.
